Nebraska Startup Academy and Scale Omaha Partner to Supercharge Nebraska's Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Omaha, Nebraska — Nebraska Startup Academy and Scale Omaha are thrilled to announce a new partnership aimed at accelerating growth and fostering innovation for entrepreneurs across the state. By aligning their resources and expertise, these two organizations will provide Nebraska’s startup community with expanded access to mentorship, events, and tailored educational programming.

Nebraska Startup Academy has established itself as a powerhouse for entrepreneurial education and support, with a particular focus on reducing barriers for early-stage founders through programs like The Grove, an incubator and coworking space located in Omaha’s Millwork Commons. Scale Omaha, a regional startup community, has been inspiring and connecting the startup ecosystem through events, speaker series, and founder showcases. Together, these organizations are creating an unparalleled network of resources designed to strengthen Nebraska’s position as a leader in the Midwest for startup innovation.

“This partnership is incredibly exciting because it combines the best of both organizations to create a broader, more robust support system for founders across Nebraska,” said Charlie Cuddy, Executive Director of Nebraska Startup Academy. “By teaming up with Scale Omaha, we are amplifying our shared mission of empowering entrepreneurs and accelerating the growth of high-potential startups in our state. Together, we will build an ecosystem where founders have access to the knowledge, community, and resources needed to thrive.”

The collaboration will focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for Nebraska’s entrepreneurs, including increased access to high-impact mentorship, comprehensive resources, and networking opportunities that transcend industry boundaries. Monthly events, founder panels, pitch days, and hands-on workshops are just a few of the planned initiatives to foster growth and learning across the startup community.

“We are excited to partner with Nebraska Startup Academy to create a startup ecosystem that rivals the best in the country,” said Jake Burklund, co-founder of Scale Omaha. “This partnership represents our commitment to Nebraska's entrepreneurs, and together, we are opening doors to new possibilities for every founder, from those just starting out to those scaling their businesses. Our combined vision is to inspire, equip, and connect the state’s next generation of innovators.”

Through this partnership, Nebraska Startup Academy and Scale Omaha aim to drive sustainable economic growth by creating more opportunities for job creation, fostering local investment, and building a supportive network for Nebraska-based startups. The partnership signifies a joint vision for a thriving entrepreneurial community that not only grows local talent but also attracts high-growth ventures to the region.
